However, on the counterside, the money lost in the grand scheme of things was peanuts, considering I'd been making 8 to 20m a day with no risk at all. If you ask me, 90m in a week isn't fantastic money, it's reasonable, considering you can mine Scordite in 1.0 and make nearly 3 mill an hour with the right setup. I've got Tank tagged so I see him log on and off now, and he's on a lot, so 90m considering the risk he takes isn't fantastic IMO.
Interestingly, he's been at this for months in Sarum, and he's right, no real attempts to stop him. I witnessed a few corps jump through the gate to try to get at him, but he managed to evade them at that time without much effort. However, it's not too hard to setup a bookmark to his location - I have one - and warp to him, where you stand a far better chance of pinning him down or camp the spot, you just need the numbers, therefore driving him out the system.
On the whole, IMO, the game was far more fun without the highways when you had to travel 20+ jumps through low sec space, with no sentry guns, to get your latest rare module, hoping you didn't hit a blockade. I've played daily now for months in the same region, avoiding Sarum Prime obviously, making easily 10m+ a day with no risk whatsoever, anyone with half a brain can do it, and by the looks of things, I'll be able to carry on doing that ad-infinitum if I want to.
Tanks right, the game has no risk at all atm if you play inside empire space as a lot of people do. 0.4 and below should be dangerous with no sentries & lousy concord policing. If players want that space to be perfectly safe, they should rent an office and police it themselves with battleships, how hard is that?
Tank, although I'm agreeing with you in theory, I still think you're a lowlife scumbag and look forward to claiming your bounty at the earliest opportunity
